Value-laden language and imagery can increase stigma and encourage inaccuracies. As a result, How to talk about abortion offers examples of positive, rights-based messages, and tips on how to avoid using stigmatizing language and images.
The guide was developed with educators, advocates, programmers, health professionals and policy makers in mind, among others, to help inform the development of a wide range of communications materials, from programming briefs, to policy documents.
